Great stay at a chic, quiet location in a residential neighborhood.
Positive: Location was perfect. Central but quiet without the hustle and bustle of downtown. Very walkable to downtown. Perfect for walking my pet around town. Decor was nice and minimalist, but still warm and cozy. Love the little kitchenette, had everything I needed. Bathroom was nice and spacious. Negative: The room was a little on the small side. The inside door trim was coming off the wall from catching on the door lock mechanism. The fridge is a bit loud at times.

This is a lovely suite that has everything we needed for a short stay. The host was extremely communicative and responded quickly! The one drawback to this place (which was no surprise to us given that it was mentioned in the listing) was that you can hear every footstep from the unit above. If you have a light sleeper I would recommend going elsewhere. Otherwise, would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great location, just a short walk to the downtown area. The house was clean and had all the necessities you may have forgotten. The check in process was so easy and the owner/staff was available for any questions and concerns that we had. Even though it was street parking only, we never had any issue getting a close parking spot to the house! Overall all it was such a great stay in a very beautiful house!

The room was very clean and comfortable. Location placed us within walking distance of the downtown pedestrian area. The staff was very helpful and communicated promptly and courteously. This was a great place to stay for 1-2 people who wanted to be close to the action of State Street. I walked everywhere from here. Street parking was easy to find and I never had to move my car Wednesday to Saturday. Lots of restaurants, theaters, and a small market are within walking distance. I appreciated having a mini fridge and Keurig for morning coffee.

Really lovely flat in a great location! Parking on street was easy. Only issue was the place was quite noisy. Lots of steps can be heard from flat above and just off a main road so expect traffic in morning. However this didn’t take away from our overall experience !

I had requested a kitchen. What you had was a refrigerator, sink and microwave. What would have been helpful would be a table to sit at and eat. There is only the little desk against the wall in this unit. I saw an adjacent unit that did have a table. Everything was clean and well appointed and it even had toiletries and supplies, which was very nice. I would have also appreciated some instructions for setting up the Smart TV. It's in a nice part of town . Parking on the street wasn't too hard. Hosts were available to help when things went wrong or I had questions. On balance it was good.

I would have appreciated a table to sit at and eat but there is no room in that unit for a table (I did see one in 6C). Instructions on setting up the TV would have been helpful. Communications before and during my stay were very helpful. Not having a key, but a combination was very handy. Nice place.

It is close to everything, the location is prefect!! Everything was nice and clean. Parking is on the street in the neighborhood but it is really easy to find somewhere to park! My only complaint is that you do hear people walking above you all the time even late at night and early morning & if you’re a light sleeper you’ll wake up in the middle of the night to people walking or moving things around for whatever reason. Other than that it is a nice place to stay.

I absolutely loved it here! This space was clean, refreshing, and had the amenities I needed! I felt super safe and comfortable. It was my first time in SB. I visited to be near nature and this area was close to the botanical gardens, parks, natural history museum and wonderful shops and restaurants-even the ocean! I did a self care morning to a walkable nearby spa which was fantastic! So happy I stayed here! I highly recommend it if you are looking to be near nature, shops and be in a clean, comfortable, safe place!

We really enjoyed our stay at this little studio. Although small, it was perfect for a couple nights. The kitchen was great, had everything we needed. The location was absolutely perfect. Lots of parks nearby to bring your dog or kids. The only complaint is that the upstairs tenants were very loud above us. The ear plugs they provide are much needed!

The apartment was comfortable, location was great, and the parking was a breeze.
Positive: I loved how close to State St. the apartment was, it made it really easy for us to wander down there for dinner. I really appreciated that I didn't have to pay for parking either since it was a residential area. Negative: I think the neighbors were a bit loud but that is to be expected and there isn't much the property can do about that. As far as the amenities, I thought the apartment had everything I needed. The only thing I might suggest is getting a full sized ironing board. The one in the room kept collapsing and it wasn't large enough to iron a suit or dress comfortably. Other than that I would definitely say it met my expectations.

There is no need to meet with any property managers/front desk receptionist as they give you all the info to get in/leave on your own ahead of time. There were a variety of extras in the room such as makeup wipes, earplugs, dishes , and more! Highly reccomend :)

Lovely stay very close to downtown. The room had many nice updates and was comfortable. Really appreciate that it was dog friendly. The host is extremely communicative and understanding. The only bummer is that you can hear guests above you if you’re in a bottom unit. It’s not a big deal unless you have people who are loud. Would bring earplugs or sleep with your ipods in. On a plus, when I let the host know of an issue, they responded and took care of it. Thanks!

Very clean and big bathroom! Huge bed and TV, perfect for a few days in SB! Upon arrival in SB the vrbo app was glitching and wasn't showing our booking. I managed to find an email and call the property and they were really helpful. The code pad on the door wasn't working due to rain and when I called them they were helpful in letting me know instructions for the lockbox. They provide tea and coffee, and there's a very small fridge that we used for the few days we were there. Walkable. We even took a nice walk back all the way from the botanical garden. Most affordable option in the area.

Only cons are it’s a late check in with accommodations for an early check in, which I knew before I reserved it. But I sat outside for at least an hour waiting to get in. The cleaners had finished much earlier, so it was possible but the managing company are not very accommodating.

Our stay was wonderful. We were in town for a concert at the Arlington Theater which is walking distance from the room. We were able to enjoy all the shops restaurants and bar and simply walked back to our room when the night was done. The place is super cute and very clean. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Loved this place! Walkable distance from downtown + shopping/restaurants. Very short drive to the beach if you don’t feel like walking. The surroundings were super peaceful + the airbnb itself is super relaxing. Spa-like bathroom was great. They have blackout curtains AND a noise machine so as a mom that was super helpful for my baby! Great place all around.

I want to give this place a higher score, but they need to work on cleanliness. First the good: - Location. Easy to walk, park, bike near downtown and near parks, not far from the mission rose garden, etc. - Amenities were good. AC unit and roomy fridge, large TV. - Roomy enough for a small unit. The bad: - Cleanliness. For the price paid for cleaning, ($85.50 + $50 dog deposit) I expect a cleaner stay. The two biggest problems were the duvet without a removable & washable cover. On my second night here I found a large hunk of food about the size of my thumb, what looked like a soft breadstick or large soft pretzel which must have been stuck to the duvet. That was a gross surprise! Please don't just febreeze blankets. Secondly, it appears someone was sick in the room, and I had to clean the lower portion of the toilet because there was a dark dribble. I am glad there was cleaning spray to use, but I wish I'd brought gloves. Aside from that, the place was fairly clean.

The apartment is very centrally located and within walking distance of downtown Santa Barbara; it’s a little ways from the beach and pier but we didn’t mind the walk! Communication with the managers was great and the place itself was well stocked. The only critique I have is that there is definitely a need for a dehumidifier in the place, for some circulation of air. Every time we stepped in, it felt “wet” and our bed and clothing did as well because of how humid the air was inside. Other than that, our stay was lovely!

The unit and location was as mentioned, clean and updated. It was walkable to all the stores, restaurants and etc. off State Street. Parking was not a challenge at all despite no designated parking. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

The pictures and description accurately depict this studio apartment. The location was ideal since we were able to walk most places. It was nice to have a microwave and fridge with utensils to eat leftovers. The bed was comfortable! The place was clean as well. It had a large shower/tub with great shower pressure. Our only issue with our stay was quite a big one. Our passcode to get into the studio didn’t work twice and I had to contact Zipstay. They responded quickly with a new code. The first time it happened was at check in and the second time was in the evening. We waited about 20-30 minutes each time to get in. They believe it was due to the large amount of rain that Santa Barbara had during our stay. The alternative method to get in, which was a key in a lockbox, should be provided at check in so tenants are never locked out. They did compensate us for the inconvenience which was much appreciated. Overall the stay was great and communication with Zipstay was prompt.

The service here was really great. Anytime we had an issue they were super fast and helpful. The room is incredibly small- smaller than the average hotel room. We usually get an Airbnb for a bit more space. A hotel would be a better value since you would have more amenities and daily cleaning. The shower wasn’t screwed in and the security lock was inadequate- wouldn’t be able to stop an old lady.

Overall stay was fine. The place is set up just like a hotel room the difference is having private entry which was very nice! We had some troubles with the electronic keypad which resulted in constant beeping and even an alarm from the keypad going off very early. The rental company that manages the property has excellent customer service. It was easy to get a hold of someone even at 5am and they worked very hard to fix the problem. Clean place super close to state street for easy walking and/or Ubers.

They do mention in the ad that you can hear the unit upstairs, which I did briefly, but it didn’t really disturb me, and I think these things are more common with a place that is so close to the downtown area. Our stay was very last minute and so happy we got to book this clean AirBnB extremely close to State St. The bed was very comfortable and everything was new and clean. The only downside is that you can hear tenants upstairs but that’s expected from staying on the bottom level. Otherwise parking is extremely easy and our stay was great.

This is a nice, compact space that is really well designed and located right off State Street E side of 101. It’s in a nice neighborhood and we loved the cute little patio along with the beautiful interior. Best of all they take 1 pet! It’s hard to find pet friendly places that are so nice! We will definitely stay again, great price for the value🤩

Such a great room with an amazing location. We walked down state street every night. 35-40 minute walk to the beach and the Funk Zone. Everything was super seamless. One small thing- they may have been cleaning the unit upstairs but one morning was incredibly loud at 6:30AM.

This is a great location and the place is very clean and decorated nicely. We loved that we could bring our dog :) State street is within walking distance which is awesome. I also enjoyed that their was a refrigerator, sink and coffee machine. The bathroom and shower was really nice! It was nice to be able to also log in to our apps (Netflix, peacock, Amazon) and watch our favorite shows.

We didn’t sleep well because of the upstairs guests. The reviews say the same, so maybe just allow small groups upstairs? They were young and rowdy. That’s our only issue! As far as walkability, it’s not walkable to the Funk Zone but it is walkable to Caje in the morning which was nice.

The unit was a great place to stay while visiting Santa Barabara. It's on the edge of downtown with easy parking, and it's a quick walk or drive to get anywhere you want to go. The unit itself was clean and perfect for a short trip to Santa Barbara.

Stylish and thoughtful
This space and location were perfect for the two days/1 night we spent in SB. I was worried about the street parking but we found a spot in front of the Casa every time. The small patio is great for a snack or glass of wine. Inside the kitchenette had everything we needed for a quick snack or morning coffee. The bed was really comfortable and the sheets soft. There are thoughtful touches like beach towels, ear plugs, and an extra blanket if you get cold. Public Goods bath products smell amazing and contribute to a spa-like feel in the bathroom. The Casa was fully booked when we were there but the sounds from other units were minimal, and the street was quiet when we were there, so we enjoyed a quiet peaceful stay. I'll definitely book again.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect downtown location. Unit was very clean and well equipped. We were in the bottom unit and did not have any noise issues as other reviewers shared. We would def stay there again.
